[NASA description] Apollo 12 EVA, a close up view of a heart –shaped depression (crater) in the lunar surface as photographed during the Apollo extravehicular activity. The legs of astronaut Charles Conrad Jr., commander, can be seen in the background. Astronaut Richard F. Gordon Jr., command module pilot, remained with the Command and Service Modules in lunar orbit while Astronauts Conrad and Alan L. Bean, lunar module pilot, descended in the Lunar Module to explore the Moon.
